We send text messages only to parents and guardians who have actively opted in during registration. No numbers are purchased, rented, or obtained from third parties.

How families opt in

  1. A parent registers a child through our registration portal, reached from k2academy.com/register.
  2. On the contact step, the parent enters a phone number.
  3. The parent actively checks the “Receive Texts?” box, which is unchecked by default. Checking it displays the consent disclosure shown below.
  4. Consent is stored per phone number. Only opted-in numbers receive messages.

Opt-out and help

Every message supports STOP(cancel) and HELP. A reply of STOP immediately suppresses all further messages to that number and sends one confirmation.
