K2 Campus offers the highest quality preschool education in the Northwest Houston area by incorporating three popular teaching styles. Reggio-Emilio, Montessori and traditional, with a primary focus on Reggio-Emilio.
Our Reggio inspired classrooms have learning objectives and daily plans that focus on a theme. However, we build in time and lend ourselves to an “emergent curriculum” style of teaching that allows teachers to dig in and explore concepts that children are interested in, and even verge slightly off topic to answer questions kids have posed. This style of teaching encourages creativity, critical thinking, and independence. Another primary of Reggio that K2 utilizes, is that the classroom is the third teacher. Children’s artwork is displayed and documented to stimulate future lessons.
And OF COURSE we incorporate physical activities into their daily routine. Our K2 Campus kids have a 10,000 square foot gymnastics gym as well as a 7,000 square foot natural playground. We feel it very important to exercise both the brain and the body in our K2 Campus program!
Our preschool classes are taught by compassionate, friendly and educated teachers that LOVE working with children. All K2 Campus teachers are:
Each of our oversized classrooms is designed for maximum learning and FUN!
